About the Role As a Medical Assistant , you will be an essential part of the patient care team, supporting providers and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role blends clinical care, patient interaction, and operational support in a specialty cardiology setting. You will help coordinate patient flow, perform clinical tasks, and support providers during exams and procedures. Your work directly contributes to patient safety, efficient clinic operations, and a positive patient experience. You Will Love This Role If:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Support
Room patients and coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic Record medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information Assist providers during exams and treatments Administer injections and collect specimens as needed
Clinic Operations
Prepare exam rooms and clean medical instruments between patients Maintain and restock medical supplies Support efficient patient scheduling and clinic workflow
Patient Communication & Compliance
Answer patient questions and provide clear instructions Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards at all times
What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program ** Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (required upon hire)** Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of healthcare experience (preferred but not required) Experience in outpatient or specialty care settings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week ** Shift:** 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday ** Location:** Olympia Clinic 3920 Capital Mall Dr SW, Suite 203, Olympia, WA 98502 ** Setting:** Outpatient cardiology clinic

Entry-Level Pay: $22.96/hour ** Pay Range:** $22.96 – $41.61/hour Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, and education, consistent with internal equity and pay transparency requirements.
