Property Care Assistant to support building maintenance, cleaning, and event operations in a multi-use facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting events, and assisting with basic maintenance and security tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and comfortable working independently during evenings and weekends. Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $20.00/Hour Shift: Part-Time |
Thursday - Sunday | Primarily Evenings (Approximately
30 hours per week) Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning and custodial duties to maintain facility cleanliness and appearance Clean and organize multiple building areas including offices, common spaces, and event areas Assist with setup and breakdown of events, including tables, seating, and A/V equipment Support building operations during events and act as a point of contact for guests and tenants Handle incoming calls and assist with basic front desk/security functions Monitor building access and communicate with maintenance as needed Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance tasks Ensure sound systems and microphones are set up and functioning properly Follow established cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures Qualifications:
Prior experience in custodial, maintenance, or facilities support preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean, organized spaces Good communication skills and ability to interact with guests and staff Ability to work independently and respond to issues as they arise Flexible and dependable with strong attendance Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to perform light maintenance and custodial tasks Indoor and occasional outdoor work (snow removal, building access) Event-based environment with varying activity levels
