Responsibilities: Responsible for architecture activities and decisions for a suite of related applications within the Payments domain.
Requirements:
At least 20 years' experience in information technology, with 2 years of financial services, and 15+ years of solution architecture experience Significant experience defining the architectural vision and design for large, complex solutions, which align with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices for the Payments domain. The go-to expert on microservices architecture and cloud migrations in the Financial services industry. Experience delivering microservices architectures for high throughput, low latency, zero downtime and zero data loss Mentor teams in using Cloud-native design and Domain Driven Design Establish and lead container design and deployment strategies Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts and determining the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, assisting with end to end solution design where needed, defining non functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and expand into new opportunities. Adept at ensuring a solution is fit for purpose by working with stakeholders, vendors/service providers, and evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions. Expertise in best practices, standard templates, and architecture roadmaps and working with delivery teams to guide their adoption Deep experience with design governance, code and Architecture decision papers and past experience as a developer. Expert at interpreting business needs and applying innovative technology solutions. Proven track record mentoring junior team members and adept at collaborating with remote teams across time zones Experience with SW development processes (Agile and Waterfall). Ability to liaise with and advise Technology leadership and POs in all aspects of application design and development.
