To support nuclear and industrial projects, the remote contract RAC System Engineer (Process & I&C) will design mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and integrating multidisciplinary engineering efforts. Key responsibilities
Design and develop nuclear and industrial mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, including documentation and specifications Establish design bases and ensure integration of instrumentation and control hardware, considering environmental factors Manage technical interfaces with suppliers and participate in project design reviews to ensure compliance and quality
Required qualifications
B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university 6+ years of relevant experience for Level 10 or 10+ years for Level 11 with proven mechanical skills Demonstrated experience in developing designs for complex structures and multi-discipline integration Strong understanding of configuration management principles and quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001 Previous experience with commercial nuclear reactors and systems is highly desired
