Start Date: May 26, 2026 End Date: August 22, 2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts; schedule may vary) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Contract (Local & Travel candidates accepted)
Role Summary The MLT/MLS will function as a generalist, performing a wide range of laboratory testing and procedures. This role requires adaptability, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently across multiple lab disciplines. Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic testing across multiple departments, including:
Chemistry Hematology Blood Bank Coagulation Urinalysis Routine laboratory testing
Conduct quality control procedures and maintain laboratory instruments Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent Experience as a generalist laboratory professional preferred Strong knowledge across multiple lab disciplines Ability to work independently and manage diverse workloads Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
On-Call & Coverage
On-Call: Required (rotating)
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekend Coverage: Typically not required Holiday Coverage: Required
