Prepare patients for procedures, assist Orthodontist during procedures and finish patient's appointment. Be prepared for each procedure by reviewing patient notes to know what procedures will be done and what instruments will be needed. Provide patient and families with proper orthodontic care instructions, dental health education and diet recommendations. Help patient and parent feel comfortable at each visit. Communicate patient's treatment needs to appropriate clinic staff. Take panorex and cephalometric x-rays, and intraoral scans for patient treatment. Skills: As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care and support. You will also use your technical skills to assist the orthodontist in providing treatment to patients, including taking X-rays and maintaining patient records. Additionally, you will use your organizational skills to ensure that the orthodontic office is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and your familiarity with orthodontic software and technology will also be essential to your success in this role. Details:
Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 4:30PM
Full-Time Position: 34-40 hours per week Benefits Offered Pay Range: $20 - $25 Hourly *based on experience
Locations: Amery, Baldwin, Hudson, Menomonie & New Richmond
Must be able to travel to all locations
