POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
VITALS:
Daily schedule review to identify in-clinic providers. Monitor chat rooms for walk-in clients needing vitals. Perform and document vitals, with abnormal results communicated to providers. URINE DRUG SCREENS (UDS):
Daily schedule review for UDS appointments. Monitor chat rooms for clients needing UDS. Document UDS results as per protocol. TELE-PSYCHIATRY:
Conduct and document vitals. Log clients into tele-psychiatry sessions and assist with documentation. Sanitize office areas between clients. LAB DRAWS:
Verify and process lab orders. Perform lab draws using aseptic technique. Document lab draws in client charts. LONG-ACTING INJECTION (LAI):
Conduct vitals and verify injection details. Administer injections and communicate with providers. Schedule subsequent injections and document actions. SUBOXONE/SPRAVATO ADMINISTRATION:
Administer Clinic Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) for suboxone induction. Conduct and document vitals. Monitor medication effects and communicate with providers. NURSE LINE:
Assess live calls/messages for medication needs. Respond to messages by 3:00 pm the same day; calls after 3:00 pm will be returned by noon the next day. Document all interactions in client charts. MEDICATION REFILLS:
Review prescription program for refill requests. Process refills per protocol and notify clients. Document all refill requests. PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FOR MEDICATION (PA):
Review and complete prior authorization forms. Notify clients of approval/denial and document actions. ADDITIONAL CLINIC DUTIES:
Complete daily charting and maintain team communication. Store mobile devices during work hours. Ensure cleanliness, stock supplies, and assist with medication education. Attend training events and assist with post-meal cleanup. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:
Must be a high school graduate or have HS equivalent EXPERIENCE:
No experience required. Previous experience working with clients with mental illness and or substance abuse is preferred.
Requires knowledge of professional nursing practice care techniques and medical procedures, medical supplies, sanitation, and personal hygiene, and of nutrition.
Skills in planning, organizing, and applying nursing care techniques working with clients with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. PERFORMANCE COMPETENCIES:

Ability to administer Clinic Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) is required. Ability to work with the public. Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with agency employees. Ability to maintain a professional manner at all times and ability to maintain confidentiality. Must possess a driver's license and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
Ability to document activities, write reports, business correspondence and procedure manual.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with colleagues, clients, client's families, public and third-party payer personnel.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. Proof of automobile insurance required.
OTHER INFORMATIONSAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION: This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the "safety-sensitive" classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.
