Position Summary BGI is seeking an experienced EHS Technician to support an active project site in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have field-level experience in construction environments, with a strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and a commitment to field safety excellence. This position requires onsite presence in Austin, TX for the duration of the project. Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulatory standards Monitor field activities for potential hazards and communicate safety expectations Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Maintain thorough and accurate safety documentation and inspection logs Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and field training Work closely with site leadership and field crews to foster a proactive safety culture Ensure adherence to OSHA, company, and client-specific safety requirements Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in construction Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently in a field-based, fast-paced environment OSHA 10 (Construction) required OSHA 30 (Construction) preferred Preferred Qualifications
BCSP certification preferred (e.g., CHST, STS) Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus High-tech project experience preferred (examples: semiconductor, data centers, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom environments) Additional Details
Per diem is provided for this role Estimated contract duration: 6 to 12 months Must be able to remain on-site in Austin, TX during the contract Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States Additional Requirements

Pay is DOE (depending on experience).
