Design Manager – Main Contractor
Our client, a successful and growing main contractor based in South Woodford, is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager with a strong architectural background who is looking to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design process from pre-construction through to project completion, ensuring designs are coordinated, buildable, compliant and delivered in line with programme requirements.
Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project delivery teams, you will be instrumental in driving projects forward whilst maintaining the highest standards of design quality and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the design process across multiple construction projects
* Review and manage design information to ensure accuracy, buildability and compliance
* Coordinate architects, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams
* Monitor design programmes and ensure information is issued in line with project requirements
