Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Margate location This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. In this role, the Medical Assistant will:
Perform a high volume of phlebotomy Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations Ensure lab specimens are sent to the proper labs Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedure Assist with HSGs as needed Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, and communicate physician orders and instructions Provide pre and post-op education Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families Support and promote excellence in customer service What You'll Bring We're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience-individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. Qualifications and Skills Include:
High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred Completion of a formal MA or Phlebotomy program preferred Minimum of one year of MA experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with medical terminology 6 months of phlebotomy experience required Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications; accuracy and speed with data entry is required More important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
