Job Description Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. LPNs deliver compassionate patient care, monitor health conditions, and assist with treatments to ensure quality healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including administering medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record vital signs, patient progress, and responses to treatments. Assist with patient assessments and implement care plans under RN or physician supervision. Collect specimens for lab tests and perform basic diagnostic procedures. Assist patients with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated care.
