Program is a one-of-a-kind, on-the-job training experience for high school students that will prepare you to sit for the CNA certification exam while providing an opportunity to work part-time in a hands-on learning environment that will give you a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and confidence as you grow into your career. Requirements for the High Impact Program (HIP!) Nurse Aid: •
Be a current high school student who is at least 16 years old.
Have a minimum GPA of 2.50 and basic computer skills. Maintain compliance with all Nurse Aide Training program policies including: Attendance Policy Completion of all program hours; including classroom, laboratory, and clinical time. Dress Code policy Level of Achievement Policy Academic Honesty Test/Exams Skills Lab Clinical Guidelines Program Evaluation Successful completion of the CNA Class and, when eligible, the CNA Exam
