JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: HS diploma/GED with at least 2 years of previous work experience plus at least one of the following: Successful completion of a medical assistant program or Successful completion of the-second medical-surgical clinical rotation

Certificate of Medical assistant program
EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of clinical procedures, patient care protocols, and use of medical equipment necessary to perform delegated clinical tasks safely and accurately. Skill in performing accurate measurements and basic calculations, including vital signs, height, weight, intake/output, and point-of-care testing. Ability to effectively document clinical information in electronic health records using proper medical terminology and hospital-approved abbreviations. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding clinical information, instructions, and procedures. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment to ensure timely patient care and workflow efficiency. Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to patient emergencies or abnormal findings according to established protocols.
Compensation Range: $17.79- $25.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
