Supporting enterprise vulnerability management in a dynamic federal environment, the contract-to-hire Cyber Security Architect will engineer, optimize, and maintain vulnerability management capabilities using tools like Tenable One and Nessus while working remotely. Key responsibilities
Configure vulnerability scanners and support continuous attack surface visibility Troubleshoot complex operational issues and deploy compliance audits with frameworks such as NIST & FedRAMP Integrate security platforms with enterprise systems like AWS, CyberArk, and Splunk
Required qualifications
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations Hands-on experience with Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable WAS, and AWS security environments Proficiency in web application scanning and cloud-native security tools Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including NIST, FedRAMP, and DISA STIG Experience with enterprise integrations, automation, and operational reporting
