We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team, contributing to backend services in the wallet, payment, and loyalty program domains. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable microservices, integrating with financial systems, and supporting production environments. Prior experience with large-scale retail systems is a plus. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Support production systems, including loyalty programs and financial system integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka. Implement and manage services in containerized environments using Kubernetes. Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability in cloud-based deployments. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments. Required Qualifications Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases. Proficiency in working with Kafka for messaging and event streaming. Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with large-scale retail or e-commerce systems. Familiarity with financial systems, credit card authorization, or loyalty program integration. Prior experience with retail client's systems is a plus.
