Role Overview We're seeking a Data Analyst to turn raw data into the insights that drive Trovy's growth. You'll own our analytics infrastructure, build reporting systems, and partner closely with teams across product, compliance, marketing, and finance to ensure every major decision is grounded in data. This role sits at the center of our business and offers significant growth potential into Senior Analyst, Analytics Engineering, or Data Science roles as you demonstrate impact.
Key Responsibilities Analytics Infrastructure & Reporting
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting pipelines for stakeholders across product, compliance, operations, and finance
Establish and own data feedback loops to monitor key business metrics and portfolio health
Optimize data flows between systems (loan origination, servicing, payments, CRM) for accuracy and accessibility
Create and document data definitions, metrics standards, and reporting methodology
Lending & Portfolio Analytics
Analyze borrower behavior, draw patterns, repayment trends, and portfolio performance across Trovy's HELOC and card products
Build and maintain credit and risk reporting, including delinquency tracking, cohort analysis, and loss forecasting support
Monitor and report on key portfolio metrics for internal leadership and lending partners
Growth & Marketing Analytics
Analyze performance across paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, comparison sites) and CRM campaigns
Build attribution models and funnel analytics to optimize CAC, conversion rates, and LTV
Translate campaign data into actionable recommendations for the marketing team
Support A/B test design and analysis
Cross‑Functional Data Partnership
Partner with compliance and legal to ensure data reporting meets regulatory requirements
Work with product and engineering to instrument new features and define tracking requirements
Support investor reporting with accurate, well‑documented loan portfolio data
Bridge communication between technical and non‑technical stakeholders on data findings
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role
Excellent SQL skills and experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or similar)
Strong Python or R skills for data manipulation and analysis — Experience working with financial, lending, or payments data preferred
Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Excellent documentation and communication skills; comfortable presenting to leadership
What You'll Bring
Intellectual curiosity and a drive to understand the why behind the numbers
Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch in an early‑stage environment
Strong business judgment — you know which metrics matter and which are noise
Bias toward action; you ship analyses and iterate, rather than waiting for perfect data
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across functions

Market Opportunity: Join a team tackling the $30T home equity market.
