In Pitcher, New York-a village with rich history, strong community roots, and a quiet confidence-you'll find more than just a job. You'll find a place to grow your career and a place to belong. We're seeking a reliable, detail-focused Surgical Technologist to join a respected surgical team that values compassion, focus, and teamwork. Each day begins with purpose. As a Surgical Technologist, you're the steady hands behind the scenes, ensuring the OR is ready from the moment the first case starts. You'll handle everything from sterile prep and surgical instrument setup to ensuring every tool is where it needs to be, exactly when it's needed. Your focus and precision directly support safe, efficient surgeries-and make a real difference for every patient who comes through the door. During surgery, you're the bridge between the surgeon and the instruments. You move confidently, calmly, and with intention. You pass tools, hold retractors, anticipate the needs of the team, and help maintain a sterile field. Between cases, you'll help turn over the room, sterilize equipment, and get everything in place for what's next. You understand the value of details-and how those details save lives. And when the shift is done, Pitcher offers something rare: a peaceful, tight-knit community that still carries the spirit of innovation and hometown pride. With easy access to nearby Binghamton, scenic river trails, parks, and historic charm, Pitcher gives you space to exhale-and the chance to be part of something meaningful both at work and at home. What You'll Need:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred (or eligible/willing to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Prior experience in an OR setting is a plus-but new grads are welcome and supported by a collaborative team What You'll Do:
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs Adhere to infection control practices and safety standards Support room turnover between surgical cases Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals focused on exceptional patient care What We Offer:
A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling Support for continuing education and professional growth A team-based culture where your role is respected and your voice is heard A place to live where you can enjoy community, convenience, and a slower pace of life
If you're ready to bring your skills to a team that values precision, care, and connection-and you're looking for a community where your work and your life both feel like they matter-then we'd love to welcome you to Pitcher.
