QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in athletic training or related field
LAT or Texas license
BOC certified
CPR/First Aid and AED certification
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform job duties in accordance with DBU's vision, mission and values, and in a way that contributes to the development of the Athletics Department.
Athletic training Clinic Supervision.
Coverage of team practice, home, and away events. Assessment and treatment of student-athlete injuries. Maintain the integrity of the athletic program through knowledge and application of NCAA rules and regulations. Demonstrate a working knowledge of NCAA rules. Inform and educate student-athletes of all appropriate NCAA eligibility rules.
Be active in all department-wide fundraising and related professional activities.
Be supportive of all athletic teams and other athletic department personnel.
Practice superior customer service.
Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: A minimum of 40 hours per week or more is necessary to meet the requirements of the program. A typical workweek is expected in the 50 to 60+ hour range. Travel is required throughout the year for games.
WORK LOCATION: This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 Must be a Christian who is a member of a church that holds Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord, and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scriptures.
