Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join their dynamic team.
As an integral part of the Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a vital role in safeguarding the organization's digital assets and ensuring a secure operational environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and innovative workplace.

Pay Range:
$60-65 hour, based on experience
What's the Job?
Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events within the SOC using Security Event and Incident Management (SEIM) platforms.
Perform cyber incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact for each alert.
Coordinate containment and remediation efforts following established procedures or industry standards.
Review industry-relevant cyber alerts from sources such as US-CERT and A-ISAC to proactively identify threats on the network.
Document response procedures and contribute to the development of best practices for cybersecurity incident handling.
What's Needed?
Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and related protocols.
Experience with security tools such as Microsoft Azure, EntraID, Sentinel, Defender, and Crowdstrike or similar EDR platforms.
At least 2 years of experience working as a SOC Analyst or in a cybersecurity incident response role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret security alerts and technical data.
Excellent communication skills to effectively relay technical information to non-technical audiences.
