Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join their team based in Warton. This is a 6-month contract position requiring part-time site presence, with a focus on ensuring the highest level of cyber security standards are met across various digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support monitoring compliance with cyber security policies and manage assessment and reporting of cyber risks/threats. Coordinate the progress of Cyber Assurance requests using Jira for documentation and approvals. Conduct preliminary assessments of assurance requests and assist Technical Design Authorities and Project Managers. Support the design of IT systems to meet security requirements, balancing functional needs with security standards. Ensure completeness of documentation throughout the process, supporting reviews and audits. Coordinate and schedule stakeholder reviews at appropriate assurance process stages. Assist the wider Cyber team in reviewing and approving proposals throughout the assurance process. Monitor, evaluate, and enhance Cyber Design Assurance processes.
Job Requirements:
