Responsibilities Act as technical lead for the Sales Pre‑Sales process, driving high customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Sales Specialists & Account Teams to develop and execute account penetration strategies. Serve as the main technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, building trust and rapport with customers and prospects. Lead technical discovery, proof‑of‑concept development, and production evaluation planning, execution, and wrap‑up. Design and champion complex people‑centric security solutions covering the Data Security portfolio (including Data Loss Prevention suite, Insider Risk, Data Security Posture Management). Assist with professional services deployments, technical training, and industry seminar and trade show presentations when required. Collaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure effective operation and technical wins. Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing, and Development teams. Develop and deliver training presentations to peers and account managers. Contribute to internal documentation, training, and process development across the sales engineering organization. Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in related data‑security/insider‑risk roles. Deep knowledge of enterprise DLP, CASB, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Isolation, and DSPM solutions. Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market landscape and competitive environment, specifically in data security and insider risk. Excellent technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to articulate the big picture, uncover business challenges, and architect customer‑centric solutions. Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. Independently driven with a positive attitude and strong teamwork capabilities. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience. CISSP or a comparable industry security certification preferred. Location: California; Travel required as part of the role.
