Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cyber Security Developer - Senior to join their team. As a Cyber Security Developer - Senior, you will be part of the Application Security team supporting cybersecurity initiatives and software protection efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to security challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cyber Security Developer - Senior
Location: Southlake, TX (On-site in Southlake; backup options are Omaha and Orlando)
Pay Range: $70/hr
What's the Job?
Lead the development and implementation of secure software development policies and best practices.
Conduct software security scanning, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls into the software lifecycle.
Provide guidance on security architecture and secure coding practices.
Interpret security data and translate findings into actionable insights to reduce vulnerabilities.
What's Needed?
Minimum of two years of experience with static analysis or threat modeling tools.
Strong understanding of application vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation strategies.
Experience working with application security tools such as SCA, SAST, and secrets management solutions.
Familiarity with industry frameworks like OWASP, CIS, and NIST standards.
Solid application engineering background with knowledge of secure software design principles.
