Role Summary The Power BI Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards that integrate data from multiple construction-related systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Essential duties are tasks critical to the role. Additional tasks may be assigned by the immediate supervisor as needed.)
Build, monitor, and maintain Power BI dashboards integrating data from Viewpoint Vista.
Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
Connect and integrate data from multiple systems into Power BI.
Monitor dashboard performance and data accuracy; implement improvements as needed.
Troubleshoot issues related to data connectivity, data quality, and dashboard performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for dashboard designs, data sources, and integration processes.
Provide training and support to end users on effective use of Power BI dashboards.
Develop additional dashboards and database integrations as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with SQL cloud databases.
Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista or similar construction project management software.
