Embedded Systems Software Engineer
The Opportunity Direct and coordinate the design, development, implementation, and support functions for embedded firmware engineering. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.
You Have
Experience with C++ language real-time embedded systems software development and Agile software development
Knowledge of PC-104 Architecture, Linux Operating Systems, data acquisition systems, and MIL-STD-1553 communications and firmware
Ability to understand and interpret C++ code, specifications, and requirements
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
Nice If You Have
Experience with Scaled Agile software development and C#
Top Secret clearance
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
