Strong understanding of modern vehicle architectures and module networking.
Deep knowledge of network buses and interpreting raw vehicle data.
Professional diagnostic experience with both light duty passenger vehicles and heavy‑duty equipment.
Familiarity with standard and proprietary vehicle communication protocols (CAN, J1979, OBD, J1939, J2534, ISO 13400 DoIP, and OBDonUDS)
Introductory programming or scripting experience to assist with data configurations.
Experience using advanced scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
Professional Traits
Highly analytical and logical problem solver.
Strong attention to detail when mapping large sets of data parameters.
Desire to transition from physical repair into a data and engineering focused role.
