Responsibilities
Develop and maintain document automation solutions using Python, primarily within the Docassemble framework.
Implement custom APIs and advanced solutions to enhance our automation capabilities.
Collaborate on integrations with generative AI technologies.
Potentially lead the development of client-facing document automation solutions, including direct interaction with global clients.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Python Experience: Minimum 3 years of coding experience in Python.
Professional Development: At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
API Integrations: Proficiency in integrating with third-party APIs, including OAuth authentication and payment systems like Stripe.
Database Skills: Experience with SQL and database administration.
Version Control: Familiarity with GitHub and command-line operations in Linux environments.
Preferred Skills
Automated Testing: Experience with automated and unit testing methodologies.
Containerization: Knowledge of Docker for containerized applications.
DevOps: Familiarity with GitHub Actions and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
AI Integration: Experience building integrated solutions with OpenAI GPT-3.5 and 4.
Web Technologies: Basic proficiency in JavaScript.
Industry Experience: Past work in legal, law firms, or financial sectors is advantageous.
Document Automation: Familiarity with platforms like Docassemble, HotDocs, Xpressdox, or similar.
Ideal Candidate Traits
