(BIICS, Inc) | Contract Sr. Systems Administrator Tallahassee, United States | Posted on 05/29/2026 Job Description BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr.Systems Administrator position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. Consultant is required to reside (relocate)in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Florida if required. Note: The staff augmentation consultants are required to be off theweek of Christmas and New Year unless services are required with prior approvalfrom division leadership. Responsibilities: Assists in developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of projects. Meets with leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provide monthly written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions. Communicate project progress and information to team, sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate. Ensures technical direction and standards are being followed. Develop project plans and measures actual progress against the plans. Assures that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports. Demonstrates an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions. Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques. Manages change control within the projects. Obtains sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the critical path. Written documentation showing testing and verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met. Requirements 6+ years of experience in Configuration and Programming of DataCap 9.1.3 6+ years of experience in enterprise level change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team. 6+ years of experience in enterprise level Web Application server system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint. Ability to work well in a team environment with education and technology solutions. Demonstrated experience with implementation projects with the following characteristics: Multiple technologies and functions. Experience working in state government. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.
6+ years of experience in Configuration and maintenance for FileNet Image Services 4.2.0. 6+ years of experience in PowerShell Scripting. 6+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and configuration. 6+ years of experience in Network/Server performance monitoring. Preferred: Experience with Project Management (Standards, Best Practices, Terms, Tools) is desired.
