Summary The Solutions Architect Manager will lead a small team of developers and project lead other functions to support and evolve mission‑critical SQL‑based and cloud‑based applications that underpin core accounting, tax, and advisory workflows. This role balances legacy system stability with modernization using Microsoft Azure and emerging AI‑enabled development techniques while managing regulatory rigor and data sensitivity. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong experience supporting enterprise SQL‑based applications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments. Experience leading small development teams in regulated environments. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. Exposure or strong interest in AI development techniques. Azure certifications or progress toward certification. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Lead and mentor a small team of developers, fostering accountability, quality, and continuous improvement. Conduct code reviews and provide hands‑on technical guidance. Manage priorities, delivery commitments, and resource allocation.
Legacy Application Support Oversee on‑premises SQL‑based applications supporting accounting and advisory services. Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and auditability. Manage technical debt and support incremental modernization.
Cloud & Hybrid Architecture Lead development of cloud and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure. Support secure integrations between on‑prem and cloud platforms. Promote best practices for identity, monitoring, and cost management.
AI & Automation Enablement Encourage responsible adoption of AI‑assisted development tools. Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and insight. Ensure AI usage aligns with firm governance and compliance standards.
