This role focuses on maximizing test efficiency and automation ROI while ensuring high product quality.
You will drive the health of test plans, coordinate a QA team (manual and automated testers), and use data-driven insights to continuously improve testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for firmware and embedded systems.
Prioritize testing activities based on risk, feature criticality, and release timelines.
Improve test plan clarity, coverage, and relevance to evolving product requirements.
Evaluate and enhance automation ROI using metrics such as time savings and defect detection rates.
Balance manual and automated testing for optimal resource utilization.
Lead and mentor QA teams across manual and automation domains.
Monitor CI/CD pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure reliable automated test execution.
Define, collect, and analyze QA performance metrics (coverage, pass/fail rates, flakiness).
Drive QA process improvements, tool adoption, and test environment enhancements.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to align QA goals with engineering objectives.
Prepare and present QA status reports, risk assessments, and release readiness updates.
Maintain detailed documentation for test plans, automation scripts, and QA processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
8–10 years of experience in software/firmware testing, including test strategy creation and defect management.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, pytest, Selenium).
Familiarity with embedded systems or firmware testing (preferred).
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Proficiency in QA metrics analysis and dashboard reporting.
Excellent communication skills for presenting QA plans and results to stakeholders.
Experience with test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (Git).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience optimizing QA processes and implementing continuous improvements.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, or similar CI/CD tools.
Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
