System Hardening & Security Compliance
Required Skills
Strong experience administering and maintaining Linux systems in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments
Expertise troubleshooting operating system and kernel-level issues using source code analysis, crash, system logs, systemtap, or similar tools
Hands‑on experience managing Satellite repositories, patching, and custom kernel builds
Strong scripting experience using Bash/Bourne Shell and Expect
Experience automating system configuration, maintenance, and deployment using Ansible and Satellite Server
Solid understanding of identity management systems including LDAP and token‑based authentication
Experience supporting secure and mission‑critical Linux environments
Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred or Nice‑to‑have Skills
Experience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments
Experience administering large‑scale Linux infrastructure in secure government or defense environments
Experience improving operational workflows through automation and standardization
Knowledge of secure infrastructure best practices and system hardening methodologies
Experience supporting centralized supercomputing facilities or enterprise compute clusters
Mandatory Requirements
Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph - Required
U.S. Citizenship - Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AIS, or related field
10+ years of relevant professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting or developing system software in multi‑platform Linux environments
