Performs mammographic imaging studies. Performs mammography related quality control activities Ensures radiation safety and monitoring per facility and professional regulations and guidelines. Completes all required documentation thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner according to organizational and professional standards. Communicates effectively with the patient, patient's family and all others involved with the patient's care. Collects monthly performance improvement information. Actively seeks and participates in educational opportunities, both formal and informal, to achieve and maintain knowledge and skill to ensure world class, evidence-based health care for all patients. Demonstrates a collaborative approach to patient care - is a team player. Seeks ways to support and assist other members of the team. Promotes positive inter- and intra-departmental collaboration and communication. Provides and ensures safe handoff communication of information pertinent to patient care. Represents department in community activities. Ensures department compliance with all environment of care regulations. QualificationsJob Specifications:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Radiography program and successful completion of ARRT certification exam in addition to State Department of Health radiologic technologist license. Must meet all MQSA requirements. Completion of ARRT Mammography registration within one year of employment. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of practical work experience as a Radiology Technologist, Mammography experience preferred. About Us Why Choose Good Samaritan?
