Preparing and organizing the operating room to ensure a seamless surgical experience Upholding sterile fields and strict infection control standards Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and their teams during procedures Managing surgical equipment meticulously throughout the surgical process Monitoring supply levels and maintaining organization for every operation Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care Documenting and maintaining accurate surgical counts Education and Certification Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent is necessary Mandatory Certifications:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is mandatory BLS certification (or ability to secure it within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Attributes:
