Requirements - Certification as a Medical Assistant - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Experience in a healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)
Roles & Responsibilities - Perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under the supervision of appropriate healthcare professionals. - Assist in patient examinations and procedures as directed. - Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. - Prepare and administer medications as instructed by licensed providers. - Provide patient education and support to promote health and wellness. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination areas.
Compliance / Notes - Background checks and drug screens may be required. - Adherence to dress code policies is expected.
