Location: Massena Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, Massena, NY / Canton Potsdam Hospital, 50 Leroy Street, Potsdam, NY Start Date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 6-9 months Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (08:00 - 16:00), Monday – Thursday Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract / Temporary License/Certifications: NY license in hand, Board Certified in Cardiology, Epic experience required, AHA or RQI certifications Experience: 5+ years preferred; experience reading cardiac imaging studies preferred but not required
Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do
Provide outpatient cardiology care approximately 3 days per week Supervise Stress Tests (including nuclear stress tests, approximately 1 day/week) Support hospital consult services on an ad hoc basis Participate in on-call coverage (4p-8a as needed) Read nuclear stress tests when possible (not mandatory) Float between outpatient and hospital settings as required
What You Need Required: NY medical license in hand Board Certification in Cardiology Epic electronic health record experience AHA or RQI certifications Up-to-date work history with no gaps of 30+ days Physician statement regarding malpractice history, if applicable Preferred: Over 5 years of cardiology experience Experience reading cardiac imaging studies
About the Assignment This position involves working in outpatient clinics and hospital services across two respected facilities in Potsdam and Massena, NY. You will provide specialized cardiology care, supervise stress testing, and support hospital consults, contributing to critical patient services in a collaborative, community-focused environment.
