What You'll Do
Perform high-quality transthoracic and stress echocardiograms using GE Vivid E95 and Philips CVX equipment Accurately analyze and document cardiac ultrasound images Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosing cardiac conditions Maintain high standards of patient care and imaging safety Attend orientation sessions and adhere to facility protocols Ensure proper documentation within the EPIC EMR system Participate in occasional on-call duties (one night per week)
What You Need Required:
Current RCS-CCI or RDCS-ARDMS certification BLS certification Minimum of 4 years experience in cardiac ultrasound Ability to perform 4000+ echocardiograms High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Graduate from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or relevant health science program Experience with neonatal echo (a plus) Training in IV and UEA contrast administration
About the Assignment This position is based at a reputable facility in Olathe, KS, providing comprehensive cardiac imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency departments. The echocardiology team utilizes state-of-the-art GE and Philips ultrasound systems, supporting a wide range of cardiac diagnostics including resting, stress, and TEEs. Orientation includes two days at TUKHS and additional facility training to ensure seamless integration into team workflows.
