Position Summary
Otter Tail Power Company is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support our Sales and Implementation team as we grow retail load and strengthen customer partnerships. This role plays a key part in coordinating customer engagement, managing contract administration, and supporting business development activities.
The Sales Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure projects are organized, tracked, and executed effectively—from initial outreach through implementation—helping support significant customer growth opportunities over the next several years.
The Sales Coordinator will report to the Supervisor Sales Support.
What You’ll Do
Support the Sales team with customer communication, outreach, and project coordination Lead and organize customer intake processes (NLOC/NLINQ), including outreach and prescreening Build and maintain contractor and trade ally relationships, supporting rebate and program participation Track customer projects, including solar and service agreements, ensuring timely follow-up and communication Administer customer contracts, including tracking deliverables, milestones, and financial requirements Coordinate cross-functional meetings, document outcomes, and maintain organized project records Develop and maintain tracking tools, dashboards, and reports to monitor activity and progress What We’re Looking For
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong communication and customer service skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with Excel and business systems (Oracle preferred) Understanding of project tracking, contracts, and basic accounting practices Ability to work independently, stay organized, and proactively follow up with internal and external partners What We Offer

The expected offer for base compensation for this role is $54,000 - $71,000 annually. The actual compensation within the compensation range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
