Conduct thorough patient intakes and evaluations, establish goals, and develop individualized care plans. Prescribe appropriate therapies and educate patients on treatment benefits and risks. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate physical therapy into the overall care plan. Continuously assess and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback. Provide guidance and training to caregivers and family members to support patient safety and function at home. Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in physical therapy. Education and Experience
Clinical doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: At least one year of physical therapy practice experience. Licenses and Certifications
Current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of therapy theories and clinical concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families. Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and managing patient records. Capable of independent judgment, critical thinking, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
