Prepare patients for surgery using aseptic and sterile techniques
Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia with a high level of accuracy and vigilance
Monitor vital parameters and adjust anesthetic protocols as directed
Ensure safe, efficient surgical flow and maintain a sterile surgical suite
Clinical & Technical Skills
Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, radiology, and in-house diagnostics
Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes
Accurately document treatments, anesthesia logs, and patient records
Patient Care & Advocacy
Provide attentive monitoring of pre-op and post-op patients
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and effectively
Deliver compassionate, low-stress handling and care Collaboration & Communication
Partner closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Communicate clearly with clients regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical environment What We're Looking For:
Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Georgia
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program Successful completion of the VTNE 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on surgery and anesthesia
Advanced proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
Confidence working independently in a high-volume surgical setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and gold-standard care
Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
