Badland Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a temp CNA in the Dickinson Area.Part-Time (20+ hours per week) Monday - Friday
Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. As a CNA you will deliver in person outpatient psychiatric CNA services to individuals in adult & youth/adolescents with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses. Help individuals manage their illness and live meaningful, productive, fulfilling lives. CNA services include but are not limited to: Provide client-centered care for people who have a complex psychiatric history. Collect and document external patient-reported medications, supplements, herbals, and over-the-counter products. Obtain vital signs, height and weight when clients present for their scheduled medication review appointments with the psychiatrist. Perform functional screening assessments to individuals prior to scheduled medication review appointments. The CNA provides client-centered care and assistance to assigned client under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completes job responsibilities within the specified time constraints. Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards. Maintains confidentiality of patient information. Respects Client Rights and promotes customer satisfaction.
To be considered for this position you are required to have a high school diploma or GED and an active Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA). Psychopharmacology knowledge is preferred. Location This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position will provide services in the office and may need to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.
