Collaborate across the jobsite with Field Operations and Project Operations team members, as well as the General Contractor and other trade partners Assist with the collection of safety records following trainings sessions
Document all injuries, incidents, and near misses Signing daily paperwork to verify proper hazard and mitigation assessment Monitor large construction sites and enforce compliance with government rules & regulations Complete audits and daily reports describing activities completed, and issues, etc. Stay up-to-date with safety policies and trends, i.e. meeting the latest safety standards and establishing new ones from time-to-time as newer risks are discovered Attend all safety meetings on the job sites Your Character Traits
You're passionate about all-things safety You have a strong attention to detail You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills You're a natural at conflict resolution and are calm under pressure You're able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information Your Expertise
Required: You have at least 1 year of safety experience in construction OR 5 years of field/project experience on a commercial construction site OR a degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or completed an apprenticeship program) Required: You have certification in First Aid/CPR Required: You have completed the OSHA 10-hour construction training course Bonus Points: You have completed the OSHA 30-hour construction training course Bonus Points: You have a safety credential through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (e.g., CHST) or are actively working toward certification Bonus Points: You have experience in electrical construction Our Benefits We offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
