Licensed by New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners to practice as an Athletic Trainer New Jersey Certification as an Athletic Trainer required Bachelor's Degree or higher from an Athletic Training Education Program accredited by CAATE Maintain BLS certification CPR Teaching Certification preferred Valid Driver's License and Car insurance Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Comprehensive care, prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for student athletes within the New Milford School District Work collaboratively with coaches, student athletes, parents and administration to ensure appropriate medical care and treatment Provide essential sideline coverage by attending practices and events while coordinating priority with the Athletic Director Maintain a daily treatment log and file all necessary incident reports and doctor's notes with the school Supervises the clearance of all required medical paperwork for student athletes and works with the School Nurse and Athletic Assistant Oversees ordering supplies and equipment, maintains up to date inventory and an effective, efficient athletic training room
Salary: Starting salary beginning at $55,000; commensurate with experience. Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, prescription, vision and dental benefits. Sick, personal, family illness, and bereavement allotments are included. Job # 404
