Oncology Registered Nurse This position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, providing a great opportunity for work-life balance. This is a 13-week contract position. We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic oncology setting. The role requires knowledge in administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and managing complex care for oncology patients. Responsibilities:
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments. Manage blood products, IV antibiotics, and anticoagulant infusions. Provide central line care and maintenance. Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring (no monitor techs). Assist with tube feedings and other symptomatic needs of patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current RN license. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred. Prior travel nursing experience in oncology is required. Experience in a large teaching facility and EPIC system within the last 2 years is necessary.
