Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a hospital team in Thornton, CO as a Cath Lab Tech and play a vital role assisting physicians and Cath Lab personnel with diagnostic tests and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging systems and support high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience. BLS and ACLS certifications. ARRT (R) certification. RCIS or RCES certification. If holding RCIS or RCES, candidate must be willing and able to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before starting work. Willingness to accept on-call responsibilities and be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab while on call.
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred. Holding area experience. Patient monitoring experience.
Assignment Details
Shift hours: 06:45 – 16:15. Patient ratio typically 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area. Typical procedures: left and right heart caths (LHC, RHC), PCI, peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacer/ICD care, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, dobutamine stress tests. Equipment in use: GE Innova fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab. EMR: Meditech. Must take on-call responsibilities with the team; call is divided across the schedule and may include weekends.
