Boy Built LLC, a member of The Boyd Companies, Inc., is seeking an experienced Multifamily Construction Estimator to join our growing construction team.

Position Summary

The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting prospective residents through the leasing process while providing exceptional customer service. This position serves as the first point of contact for many residents and plays a key role in maintaining occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, and the overall success of the community. The Leasing Agent is responsible for generating traffic, conducting property tours, processing applications, preparing lease documentation, and assisting with resident relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective residents in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication.
  • Conduct community tours and effectively present apartment homes and community amenities.
  • Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate records of all leasing activity.
  • Process rental applications and assist with applicant screening procedures.
  • Prepare lease agreements, renewals, addendums, and other resident-related documents.
  • Maintain knowledge of current rental rates, floor plans, promotions, and market conditions.
  • Assist with resident move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and assist in resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, outreach activities, and resident retention programs.
  • Maintain the appearance of the leasing office, model units, and amenity areas.
  • Support the Property Manager with administrative duties as needed.
  • Participate in community events and resident engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with prospects and residents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or property management experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and telephones.

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the community for extended periods of time.

Ability to tour apartment homes, climb stairs, and access various areas of the property.
