Job Description Job Summary: Assists licensed Physical Therapists in delivering rehabilitative care to patients with physical functioning disorders. Provides skilled, evidence-based interventions to support patient recovery and improve mobility under supervision. Responsibilities:
Support Physical Therapists by implementing treatment plans and assisting with patient care procedures. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, modalities, and utilize supportive devices as prescribed. Assess patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate updates to supervising Physical Therapist for treatment adjustments. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, discharge instructions, and overall treatment goals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including treatment minutes, progress notes, and regulatory records. Participate in care team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, with LTC or rehab background preferred. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients. Ability to document accurately in electronic health records and maintain compliance. New graduates with Level II clinical experience are considered. Benefits & Growth:
