Diagnostic Support: Assisting with diagnostic sample collection and processing Client Advocacy: Educating owners on treatment side effects, quality-of-life assessments, and home care Case Management: Maintaining detailed electronic medical records and managing pharmacy refills.
Pathway to Join Our Team:
Credentials: Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician in good standing. Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. While prior oncology experience is preferred, we are willing to train a high skilled CVT with a strong interest in the field. Precision: A "check twice, cut once" mentality regarding medication safety and medical record documentation Resilience: The ability to remain professional and supportive in an emotionally charged environment.
What You'll Be Doing: As a vital member of our oncology team, your responsibilities will include:
Assist with and/or administer chemotherapy agents Assist with and monitor anesthesia for Electrochemotherapy procedures Maintain professionalism and treat all team members throughout the organization, as well as pet families with respect and kindness Participate in admitting and discharging a diverse patient population while maintaining patient and personal safety Examine and document vital signs and patient needs Other duties as assigned
