Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations Deliver Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' gross and fine motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work side-by-side with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, along with medical professionals, to guarantee comprehensive, integrative care Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide insights and guidance to families about therapeutic practices that enable continued progress outside of therapy sessions Track and Adjust Treatment Progress: Monitor patient developments and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective recovery Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Encouragement for pursuing continuing education or post-graduate certifications Licensing and Certifications
Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory Core Competencies
