Assess patients in a therapeutic setting (inpatient or outpatient) and create tailored treatment plans. Deliver physical therapy methods focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Engage collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens. Maintain accurate records documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulations. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences, enhancing collaborative care approaches. Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution. Certifications
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification is preferable. Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory. Skills
Prior experience is highly desired. Proficient in treating patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges. Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Familiar with digital documentation and clinical charting systems. Benefits
