Role Description Project is located in the Alabama area and is scheduled to kick off in early July. Duration expected to run is 10–12 months.
Responsibilities will include:
Weld inspections
Weld mapping
Supervising and accepting pressure testing
NCR reporting/tracking
System completion walkdowns
Working directly with the client/owner team
Good communication and professionalism are extremely important for this role. We need someone who can work well with both the field team and the customer.
Schedule is currently planned for 6‑10s, plus per diem.
Qualifications Current AWS CWI certification, strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 process piping and B31.9, and ideally 10+ years of experience in the industrial piping/mechanical contractor industry.
Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with the ability to implement and monitor quality procedures on industrial and mechanical projects.
Experience in Quality Management, including developing quality plans, managing nonconformances, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
Hands‑on experience with Quality Auditing, including planning, conducting, and documenting internal and supplier audits.
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams, clients, and vendors.
Prior experience in industrial, mechanical, or construction environments; experience in any of the UGS served industries is a plus.
