Transcript Hello. My name is Don Viterelli. I am one of the hospital based radiology managers. I oversee the cat scan M. R. I. And ultrasound departments here in radiology. Um One of the most unique parts of my day coming to cooper is that I never know what I'm going to walk into. Um Which makes it very exciting because I love problem solving. I love helping out my coworkers. I love working with other department heads to try to provide the best patient care and also to ensure that our patients have the best outcome possible. Um The other part that I love is that everyone that I work with is part of my family, my second family, my home away from home family and I enjoy working with every single one of them and I really appreciate the care that cooper gives to its employees and to their patients and I'm happy to be part of this team.

Short Description This job requires that the candidate adheres to departmental production, fulfills compliance with life, fire and hazardous waste requirements, radiation safety, and infection control requirements. Maintains licensure, participates in CEU'S, performs ultrasound procedures. Participates in clinical and clerical activities. Experience Required
General, Vascular, portables, 1 year experience preferred. ARDMS eligible Education Requirements
Associate degree or Equivalent Graduate of an accredited Sonography school or program of Sonography License/Certification Requirements
ARDMS Certification Requirements:
Candidates must obtain ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)certification within six months of their hire date.
Eligibility for the six-month grace period: Applicants must have successfully completed the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) exam. Documentation of a passing grade for the SPI exam is required as a prerequisite for approval of the six-month period to obtain the ARDMS certification. Additional Certification preferred: RVT Expected training in elastography, thyroidectomies, pediatrics (echoencephalpgraphy, hips, spines), PVRs, TCDs, GYN exams, and all vascular exams (arterial and venous duplexes, dialysis grafts, extremity mappings, carotids, abdomen venous, etc) BLS Hourly Rate Min $34Hourly Rate Max $56
